Mark Rebilas, DPT

Biography

Mark Rebilas, DPT, is a 2018 graduate of the Rutgers School of Health-Related Professions – Stratford, NJ Campus, and Site Director for Rehab Excellence Center-Voorhees. After graduation Mark began his career with Concentra working primarily in the treatment of work-related injuries. Shortly thereafter he began working as an independent contractor as well providing home health physical therapy, primarily for the geriatric population. With the knowledge that he gained in both settings, he developed a tool-set for effectively treating the most problematic injuries such as low back pain, knee pain and shoulder dysfunction/pain. Mark also is experienced in post-operative physical therapy, such as the treatment total knee replacements, ACL repair and rotator cuff repair. In recent years, Mark has completed advanced Certificate Training in Vestibular & Concussion Rehab from the famous AIB Institute in Tampa, Fla and Functional Capacity Evaluation via the nationally known OccuPro FCE Platform out of Wisconsin. Mark joined the REC team in 2019 and continues his treatment method of providing evidence-based care along with his personal touch of care and compassion for those he treats.

Hobbies

Mark enjoys Sports Rehabilitation, among his several areas of interest in physical therapy. Fittingly, Mark enjoys bodybuilding and nutrition and incorporates this knowledge into his patient care when and where appropriate. Mark strives to stay current with the most recent research and has attended recent seminars on post-concussion syndrome and total joint rehabilitation. Away from work, Mark is a husband and father of 2 children and he loves all sports, especially football. In 2007, Mark completed a 2-year service mission in South America and, among his myriad of interests, loves camping, hiking, the beach and spending time with his family.
